City school achieves 100 pc in AISSCE

SHILLONG, July 30: With the declaration of CBSE results of class 12 on Friday, BK Bajoria School, Shillong, has announced of achieving cent per cent pass percentage in the All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE).
A statement in this regard informed that all 128 students, who had appeared in the AISSCE, have secured first division.
“Denise Shailynti Noronha from the Arts Stream topped the school with an aggregate of 95 per cent while Nibedita Das from the Science stream followed closely with an aggregate of 94.4 per cent. Mohammad Asif from Commerce scored 92.6 per cent,” the statement said.
Meanwhile, school principal, Vandana Gupta, has congratulated the students for their performance.
APS announces names of toppers
The Army Public School (APS) Shillong, on the other hand,  informed on Friday that a total of 173 students had appeared for the examination out of which 63 students scored 90 per cent and above marks in aggregate.
A statement in this regard informed that from Humanities Kamakshi Bhandari and Adrita Chakravorty jointly topped by scoring an aggregate of 98.4% marks, Anushka Biswa secured second position by scoring an aggregate of 97.8% marks and Krishna Sharma secured third position with 96.6% marks.
From Science stream, Jahanavi Singh topped with an aggregate of 97.2% marks, Akansha Gusain, Amit Das and Shouvik Dey jointly secured second position with 96.6% marks, and Ashirbad Raj Arya and Ankita D Chanda secured third position with 95.8% marks in aggregate.
“In Commerce stream, Aswin Upadhaya topped by scoring an impressive aggregate of 98% marks, Muskan Singh secured second position by scoring 96.8% marks in aggregate and Snigdha Nath secured third position with 95.6% marks in aggregate,” the statement said.
