Theft

One Remdon Marbaniang lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar PS that in the month of October 2012 one Rani Gupta fled away after taking delivery of forty numbers of Satellite Disc TV Receivers and Activation Cards from M/s R.P Enterprise, Khyndai Lad.

Fraud

One Amoswell Lyngdoh lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar PS that on December 19, he went to renew the Insurance Policy of his car which was insured with M/s Reliance General Insurance, Khyndai Lad. However, the Insurance Company informed him that the Insurance Certificate for Rs. 17,893/- issued to him was a fake one.

Threat case

One Frelice A. Sangma lodged a complaint at Tura PS that on December 13 at around 5.30 pm, two unidentified armed miscreants attempted to take away cash from the Show Room of M/s Sangma & Sangma Auto Agency at Hawakhana, Tura (WGH). They also threatened the staff with dire consequences.

On October 10, one Tarun Bordoloi of Tarun Nagar, Guwahati wrote a letter addressed to the general secretary of KSU Auguster Jyrwa. The letter contained inflammatory and threatening words against the KSU in particular and the indigenous people including the non-tribal people of Meghalaya in general.
