Revision classes
The Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Cultural Centre at Quinton Road area is going to start revision classes for Class 10 students as per Meghalaya Board of School Education syllabus. According to a statement, the twice-a-week classes — every Tuesday and Thursday — will cover important topics, besides previous years’ question papers will also be discussed by expert teachers. The five-month course will be conducted between 4 pm and 6 pm from October 5. Interested students can get the admission form at the centre and may also contact (9774726577-mobile and WhatsApp) them for any assistance.

Unclaimed body
The Joint Director of Health Services (SS), Shillong Civil Hospital, has informed that an unknown male patient (25) who was admitted to the Male Medical Ward-II, Bed No. 20, of the hospital on September 7 at 10:41 am, passed away on the morning of September 17. The hospital authority has, meanwhile, asked the concerned relatives, etc. to collect the body from the hospital morgue within three days failing which the body will be sent for disposal.
