Fit India Run in city marks birth anniv of Pt Deendayal

SHILLONG, Sep 25: Nehru Yuva Kendra Shillong (NYKS), in collaboration with Pay for Right Football Academy, on Saturday organised a Fit India Run to commemorate the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya.
KHADC MDC, Fantin Lakadong, who attended the programme as the chief guest, flagged off the Fit India Run from Malki, Shillong.
Lakadong, in his address, acknowledged the NYKS and Pay for Right Football Academy for organising the Run.
He also suggested people to opt for a healthy lifestyle by doing physical exercises regularly.
The programme was also attended by state director, NYKS, Atul J Nikam, state deputy director, NYKS, D Rapsang, football coaches among others.
