Elderly hit; lack of doctors pose hurdle

SHILLONG: N Barua (70) years, a resident of Pynthor was hit by an unidentified biker at around 9pm on Saturday.

The rider along with the pillon rider fled away.

The incident took plce at Pynthorbah. A press vehicle present at the time of the incident helped in taking the injured to Civil Hospital but due to the absence of doctors, the patient had to be shifted to a private hospital.
