GBCC members resign en masse

TURA: Disgruntled over the denial of Congress ticket to Saleng A Sangma, over 4000 members of the Gambegre Block Congress Committee (GBCC) resigned en masse from the party’s primary membership on Thursday.

A meeting was held among the office bearers and members of all levels of GBCC and the gathering resolved to disassociate itself from the Congress leading to the dissolution of the GBCC.
