JOWAI: Genrald Pasi of Nangbah village who has joined the fray to contest for Raliang seat in the upcoming assembly election 2013 has decided to contest on an HSPDP ticket.
“I will contest as a candidate of the HPSDP from Raliang”, Pasi said adding that the party in West Jaintia hills has accepted his application for the party ticket.
The Party District President, former MLA, HB Dann informed that the party was happy to allot the party ticket to Pasi. “Pasi is more qualified than any other candidates contesting from the area”, he said.
“Pasi quit the government job as a gram sevak and became a farmer and then a businessman”, Dann added.
He (Pasi) will face a tri-angular battle between sitting MLA of INC, Coming One Ymbon and UDP Candidate, Konstan Sungoh besides one Emboklang Dhar.
