TURA: The Federation of Khasi, Jaintia & Garo People (FKJGP), Dadenggre Circle, West Garo Hills recently submitted a letter to the Assistant General Manager, State Bank of India, Tura, demanding setting up of an ATM booth in Dadenggre Sub-Division.

The FKJGP said that the booth was needed in Dadenggre since there were no other banks in the area and the lone SBI Dadenggre Branch cannot cater to the banking needs of the area efficiently.

The Federation pointed out that customers of SBI Dadenggre Branch has gradually increased over the years and people were having problems drawing their money from the bank, which could be efficiently addressed by setting up an ATM booth in Dadenggre.
