NPP leaders meet James for better health infra

SHILLONG, Nov 17: NPP leaders from Ri Bhoi on Wednesday called on Health Minister, James Sangma, with a demand for revamp in health infrastructure.
During the meeting, the leaders petitioned the health minister for operationalisation of Marmain sub-centre and creation of two sub-centres in the areas of Shakoikuna and Sohkhwai.
They also sought the upgrade of Umling sub-centre to dispensary and construction of Umsaw Nongbri PHC.
James has, meanwhile, assured the delegation that he will look into the matter.
