NONGSTOIN, Nov 19: Meritorious students from Mawshynrut were on Friday felicitated by local MLA Gigur Myrthong during an award function organised by NPYF Mawshynrut at Lyngngam Presbyterian Higher Secondary School.
A cash of Rs 10,000 each along with mementoes were handed over to 15 students who secured performed well in the MBoSE SSLC and HSSLC examinations.
The MLA, while congratulating the students, asked them to continue to toil and bring laurels.
The programme was also attended by Mawshynrut BDO, SS Syiemlieh, Sub-Inspector of School Education, Nongstoin, RG Momin, schoolteachers, students, parents, NPYF leaders, among others.
