SHILLONG: One person identified as Arun Marshillong(14) of Mawlai Phudmuri was injured when a gun slipped and fired at the Langlibun jungle behind NEHU on Saturday afternoon.
East Khasi Hills SP M Kharkrang informed that one Doverjune Marshillong (24) along with this cousin brother Arun Marshillong had gone to the jungle for hunting carrying an SBBL gun .
The incident took place when he put the gun on a stone and the gun slipped and fired. The bullet hit the right knee of Arun Marshillong and he was admitted to KJP Hospital for treatment.
