State’s GST revenue sees 27 pc increase in Nov

SHILLONG, Dec 1: Meghalaya saw a growth of 27 per cent in its Goods and Services Tax (GST) revenue during November 2021.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Finance, the GST revenue for Meghalaya in November 2020 was Rs 120 crore, which, in November 2021, has been increased to Rs 152 crore.
The Ministry also informed thatg India’s GST collection in November 2021 grew 25 per cent to Rs 1.31 lakh crore — second highest since its implementation.
