Home MEGHALAYA Members of the Rotary Club of Cherry Blossom, Shillong, during their trip to Mawsynram. On the occasion of Christmas, the Club and Mawsynram MLA HM Shangpliang felicitated Sister Veronica, a nurse at PHC Mawsynram, who ensured successful deliveries of over 145 newborns during the nationwide lockdown. The club and the MLA also donated two hospital beds and a baby warmer. The club also donated over 200 school textbooks donated by donors from across the state to four rural schools in Mawsynram.
