Regulations
The Office of the East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner (Excise) has issued fresh regulations in view of the COVID-19 situation. According to the directive, all IMFL ‘Off’ retail outlets have been directed to operate between Mondays and Saturdays from 10 am to 8 pm. On the other hand, all HDL licensees have been directed to operate from 10 am to 9 pm between Mondays and Saturdays. While IMFL ‘On’ retail outlets will operate between 12 pm to 9 pm every day, all bonded warehouses have been directed to function between 10 am and 6 pm from Monday to Saturday. On the other hand, all canteens and outstills have been directed to function from Monday to Saturday between 10 am and 8 pm.
