Guwahati, Jan 21: Assam reported marginal dip in the number of daily COVID-19 positive cases on Thursday compared to the previous day. The state reported 7929 positive cases on Thursday out of 61359 tests conducted throughout the state.
The state reported 12 deaths due to Covid on Thursday while 1960 persons recovered registering a recovery rate of 12.92 per cent.
Kamrup Metropolitan district reported highest number of 1716 Covid positive cases on Thursday followed by 486 in Dibrugarh district, 424 in Kamrup Rural and 422 in Cachar district.
