Shillong, Jan 31: A team of Jorabat police arrested two cattle smugglers from the outskirts of Guwahati on Jan 30.
A cattle-laden vehicle (AS 01LC 6962) was also seized by the police in an operation that was conducted based on a tip-off
Police said five cattle were loaded from Jagiroad in Morigaon district of Assam to the cattle market at 9th Mile via Jorabat
The driver and helper have been arrested and an FIR has been registered in this connection
