SHILLONG, Feb 1: Chief Minister, Conrad K. Sangma on Tuesday refused to comment on the growing demand for a relook into the state reservation policy, saying the time was not appropriate.
“We have been discussing with everybody that this is not an appropriate time to discuss this matter. It is a very complicated matter and it has got serious repercussions in the larger scenario,” Sangma said.
He said it would be inappropriate for the government to look into this aspect as it would have larger ramifications for the society and for the tribal population of the state.
