Meghalaya govt welcomes HNLC’s offer for unconditional talks

Guwahati, Feb 9: Meghalaya Government has welcomed the HNLC’s offer for unconditional peace dialogue with the government of India even as the Chief Minister Conrad Sangma has informed that the process to identify an interlocutor as desired by the HNLC, has been started.

Taking to the twitter, the Chief Minister today said, “The Government welcomes HNLC’s offer for unconditional peace talks. We have started the process to identify an interlocutor & we await an official communication from the organisation to take forward the required procedures.”
