SHILLONG, Feb 13: The state on Sunday recorded 58 fresh cases of COVID-19 while one more patient succumbed to the viral infection in the past 24 hours taking the death toll to 1,562.
The active cases in the state stands at 751 while 90,678 people have recovered so far, including 156 on the day.
21 fresh cases were reported in East Khasi Hills, 14 in West Garo Hills, six in North Garo Hills, five in South West Garo Hills, four in West Jaintia Hills, three each in Ri-Bhoi and South West Khasi Hills and one each in Eastern West Khasi Hills and West Khasi Hills.
