Guwahati, Feb 15: The Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader in Meghalaya Assembly, Ampareen Lyngdoh has refused to divulge on the future course of action as planned by the all five Congress MLAs following their suspension order as issued by the All India Congress Committee (AICC).

Lyngdoh, who is one of the five remaining Congress MLAs who joined the ruling MDA coalition led by the National People’s Party (NPP), said they were exploring all options and decision that would be beneficial to the five of them, would be collectively taken.

When asked about the demand made by one of the five MLAs, PT Sawkmie for removal of MPCC chief Vincent H Pala, Lyngdoh refused to make any comment.

Commenting on the suspension order, the CLP leader said there seems to be a little confusion in the AICC letter as did not specify the quantification of the suspension order.

When asked about the BJP’s statement on Congress accepting their ideologies with the recent joining of the MDA by the five Congress MLAs, Lyngdoh said there was nothing to react to that even as she asserted that they do not accept anybody’s ideology except that of the MDA and its lead partner, the NPP.
