Shillong, Feb 16: Meghalaya police today seized a huge cache of explosives from a vehicle at Byrnihat in Ri Bhoi district of the state. The seizure was made during a routine checking.
Police said when the concerned vehicle was asked to stop, the driver drove right through. The vehicle could be detained only after a hot chase by the police.
Two persons have been arrested in this connection.
