London: Model Daisy Lowe is all set to bare all in an eight-page spread of Playboy. The 22-year-old model, who has previously posed for fashion publications Vogue and W, will strip off in the September edition of the iconic men’s magazine.
Lowe who is currently dating Doctor Who actor Matt Smith will travel to editor Hugh Hefner’s famous Playboy Mansion for the photo shoot. The beautiful brunette, who is the daughter of musician-turned-designer Pearl Lowe and ‘Bush’ rocker Gavin Rossdale, previously posed topless for the 2010 Pirelli Calendar and found the sexy shoot liberating.
“It was quite freeing, being able to be naked for a week,” she said. Lowe has previously explained being “sexy” is a “big part” of her identity, and she believes it is empowering for women to be in control of their sexuality.
“I suppose I’ve been very in touch with the ‘sexy’ thing since I was 15. I guess it’s a big part of my identity, something that I have learnt to switch into. It’s because I’m a girl’s girl. “I’m not the girl who’s trying to make your boyfriend fancy me. The only reason I ever ‘do’ sexy is because I like to encourage women to feel sexy about themselves,” she added. (PTI)
