18 Parl Secretaries appointed

SHILLONG: Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma on Tuesday appointed as many as 18 legislators as Parliamentary Secretaries as many of them could not be accommodated in the 12-member Cabinet.

The Parliamentary Secretaries who took oath on Tuesday include Comingone Ymbon, Limison Sangma, Winnerson Sangma, Kennedy Khyriem, Cherak Momin, Sengnam Marak, Dr Celestine Lyngdoh and Noverfield Marak (all Congress) and Independents Samuel Sangma, Rophul Marak, Robinus Syngkon, Michael Sangma, Justine Dkhar, Ashahel D Shira, Stephanson Mukhim, Brigady Marak.

Besides, Marthon Sangma of the NCP and Lambok Mylliem from NESDP, were also appointed as Parliamentary Secretaries.
