Unclaimed body
A body of a man, identified as Sambat Pohthmi, was found at the MTC verandah, Jail Road, Shillong, at 6.13 pm on February 17 following which the same was shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital for autopsy and inquest. Following the formalities, the cadaver has been kept at the hospital morgue for identification and claim. According to a statement in this regard, the deceased is approximately 5.5 ft tall, has swarthy complexion, thin build and black hair.
