Body found

lOn March 19 at around 3 pm, one unidentified male body was found lying at Jhalupara, Shillong.

lOn March 17, one unidentified male body was recovered from Mawbon village under Shallang police station.

Theft

lOn March 19 at around 4 am, unknown miscreants stole 35 cartons of cigarette and Rs. 10,000 from the shop of Shiv Nath Choudhury at Nongmynsong, Shillong.

lOn March 15 at around 11.30 am, Seba M. Sangma and Mackzum K. Sangma with the help of Wallinath T. Sangma and Jaman N. Marak, stole ten quintals of iron rods and other materials valued around Rs. 44,000 from the store at Songsak East Garo Hills.

lKloshal Sun lodged a complaint at Laban police station that on March 14 at around 5 pm, miscreants broke into his residence at Lyngkien Tangmaw village in East Kasi Hills and stole away one motor of a stone crusher machine.

lOn March 13 night, miscreants stole one motorcycle (ML-08C-1799) belonging to one Crystal Barny D. Sangma from Wadanang, Tura,West Garo Hills.

Injured

lNorbet Nongtdu lodged a complaint at Khliehriat police station that on March 18 at 6 am, his handyman slipped and injured while he was pushing the truck at Nongsning, East Jaintia Hills.

lOn March 18 at around 2.30 am, one Tlas Umbah attacked his wife Dasoon Madur (41) with a dagger in their residence at Mawhati, Ri Bhoi.

Fish poisoning

On March 17 night, three persons Pyrkhat Tymmenniang, Dilet Marwein and Balajied Dohling had poisoned fishes in Wah Syah at Laittyra village in East Khasi Hills.

Threat cases

lGaurav Singh Rathore lodged a complaint on March 17 at Ranikor police station that one Dharambir Bansal along with his son , Sunil Bansal have illegally entered into his coal quarry. On March 8 at 2.10 pm, on behalf of Dharambir Bansal, one Fernandes Marak along with his accomplices (5/6) armed with sharp weapons, forcibly entered into his coal quarry and asked the workers to stop the mining activities. They also threatened to burn their machineries and coal laden trucks.

lOn March 14 at around 2.30 pm, Md. Abdul Tawab threatened Md. Ilyas with dire consequences at Madrasa Hematul Islam LP / UP School, Lumdiengjri, Shillong.

Truck torched

One Winel Bhoi lodged a complaint at Jowai police station that on the night of March 16, miscreants set fire to his truck (NL-01G-6732) at Khliehtyrchi village in West Jaintia Hills. As a result, the truck was partially damaged.

Assault

On March 16 at around 10.45 pm, Rajan Chettri assaulted one Durbah Sumat at Lumshyiap, Shillong. As a result, the victim sustained injuries and was shifted to Civil Hospital, Shillong.
