SHILLONG, March 14: The Rotary Club of Orchid City Shillong in collaboration with STEM learning, Bangalore, inaugurated the first ‘Mini Science Centre’ at Lumparing Vidyapith Secondary School.
The Mini Science Centre was inaugurated by Frederick Kharkhongor, Commissioner and Secretary, Arts and Culture department, in the presence of former Education Minister, Rtn Manas Chaudhuri, club president Rtn Monica Chanda, Rtn Abhishek Ranjan, MD, STEM Learning Private Limited, among others.
The Mini Science Centre has been sponsored as part of CSR initiative of STEM Learning Private Limited, which is is equipped with working models of different theories/principles of Physics, Mathematics and Biology.
Principal of Lumparing Vidyapith Secondary School has, meanwhile, expressed his gratitude to the Club and STEM Learning for the Mini Science Centre.
