Convocation for trainees of RKM

SHILLONG, March 19: As many as 544 certificates were awarded to meritorious Computer and Language trainees during the convocation function of the 93rd Batch of Computer trainees and 34th Batch Language students of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Cultural Centre here on Saturday.
RKM Shillong trains about 6,000 youths a year in Computer subjects, spread over five sessions.
The convocation was for trainees of January-March 2022 session, being the 93rd batch of trainees, comprising about 600 youths from different parts of the Northeastern states.
The students who topped the academics were Laweibakordor Thongni (Computer Beginner), Nika Delecta Lyngdoh Nongbsap (Computer Intermediate), and Apborlang Sun (Accounting and Tally). Tody Cliff Nongrang was applauded for completing several courses and excelling in all of them.
In his inaugural address, Swami Hitakamanandaji Maharaj, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Shillong, stressed on ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumvakam’, which means the whole world is a family. He said that one must imbibe this spirit from the institute.
