No breakthrough in ‘murder’ case

SHILLONG, Mar 21: Police are yet to make any breakthrough in an alleged homicide of a 38-year-old man, whose body was recovered recently with cut injuries.
The body of the deceased, identified as Bernath Sandy Lyndem, was recovered from Lummawbah area on March 16 with stabbing injuries and a slit throat. The relatives, on the other hand, claimed the body of the deceased on March 17.
Police, too, had registered a case of murder in this regard.
