Stolen items seized
Police have recovered and seized another three solar plates which were stolen on August 10, 2012 from Raj Bhavan, Shillong. In this connection, police also arrested one Kadir Ali (37/M) of Chai Gaon, Kamrup, Assam.
Arrest
Jowai Police arrested one Deimonjur Suiam (18/M) in connection with assault case under Jowai PS (WJH).
Driver missing with 1 crore
One Deepyojyoti Paul lodged a complaint (March 23) at Shillong Sadar PS that his Bolero Camper (ML-05H-1058) driven by Arobindo Das who was carrying cash Rs. 1,04,00,000 was found missing, while on the way from Shillong to Borsora. The vehicle was last seen at Lyngiong village (EKH), on March 22.
Theft
On March 21 at around 7 am, unknown miscreants stole one motorcycle (ML-08C-9634) belonging to one Dhurjati Chowdhury from Nikrang Ading, Tura (WGH).
Demand call
Tibulson R. Marak, the GHADC Forest Range Officer, Raksamgre Range lodged a complaint at Tura PS that on February 7, he received an anonymous call from cell phone No. 8974767401, in which the caller demanded Rs. 10 lakh from him.
