Helpline number to report coal illegalities

SHILLONG, March 25: The state Police has set up a helpline number to register any credible complaints/information with regard to activities of illegal mining and transportation of coal in Meghalaya. The toll free number – 18003453846 – will operate round the clock and the identity of the informer will be kept confidential.
