TURA, March 27: Two days after 15 students from Pedaldoba in West Garo Hills were deprived of appearing in their SSLC examinations after school authorities goofed up and failed to issue admit cards, reports have emerged that three more students from North Garo Hills have suffered the same fate and missed out on the exams.
Soon after the incident went viral in the social media, leaders of GSMC units from Pedaldoba, Raksamgre and Bajengdoba met the students and their parents where they were informed that their children had missed out on the exams due to the negligence of school authorities. While two of the students are from Bajengdoba, the other is from Bangsi Apal in the same district.
The GSMC has demanded strong action against the school authorities and said that the affected students be given another chance to rewrite the examinations.
