NONGPOH: Angered over the apathetic attitude of three mobile operator companies viz Reliance, Aircel and Vodafone in discharging better service to mobile users in three areas of Marngar, Mawphrew and Mawsyntai in Ri Bhoi District, the KSU of Mawphrew Unit served a one week deadline to the three mobile operators.

The KSU Mawphrew Unit’s president P. Maring while informing The Shillong Times said that, “The public who were the mobile users of these three networks have faced poor network coverage since last two weeks and many complaints have been lodged to the authority concerned but these mobile operators failed to meet the public need”.

The Union has served this deadline for rendering the valuable network service, failing which, the Union will lock the towers of these mobile operators located at Marngar, Maring added.
