Awareness, vax camp at Nongpoh school

SHILLONG, April 2: Students at a school in Nongpoh were on Friday educated on the benefits of getting inoculated against COVID-19.
According to a statement here, a COVID-19 awareness-cum-vaccination camp was conducted in collaboration with Indian Social Responsibility Network (ISRN) at Alpha English Higher Secondary School, Nongpoh.
During the programme, awareness sessions on COVID-19 vaccination were conducted during which students raised queries on both the safety and the side effects of vaccination against COVID-19.
It may be mentioned that till date, the ISRN, in collaboration with the state government, has conducted COVID-19 vaccination camps at JNV-Niangbari, Morningstar School and Alpha English Higher Secondary School.
