NTC misused Govt funded vehicles: KSU

 NONGPOH: The Khasi Student Union (KSU), Nongpoh Circle had on Tuesday expressed deep concern and also strongly denounced the Nongpoh Town Committee and its representative’s for allegedly misusing the vehicles (Dumpers Truck) which was funded by the Urban Affair for collecting disposal waste in and around Nongpoh Town.

KSU Nongpoh Circle president, Lambok Rymbai, said, “The members of the NTC had misappropriate the government funded vehicles which is meant for collecting the disposal waste in Nongpoh so to keep the town clean but however the member had involved these vehicles in loading materials for construction i.e boulders and sand for any construction”.

Rymbai also alleged that, the representative of the NTC had taken things for granted for their self benefit without thinking about the welfare of the people and the Nongpoh Town as a whole and questioned as to who would be held responsible in case a vehicle breaks down.
