The Ieng Rasong Sports Social and Cultural Club will organise a seminar-cum workshop in Self Employment through collective efforts in the month of April.
Inauguration
The inauguration of the first fish pond constructed under the Meghalaya State Aquaculture Mission will be held on March 30 at 3pm at Mawtap village in Sohiong and the same will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma in the presence of local MLA, HDR Lyngdoh who is also the GAD minister and Chief Secretary WMS Pariat.

The West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner has informed that in pursuance of notification by the Principal Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, General Administration (A) Department, all offices, Revenue and magisterial courts will remain open on March 30 due to the financial year ending 2012 – 2013. All government employees have therefore been instructed to attend offices as usual.
