Meeting
The Pinewood Hotel Workers Union in its emergent meeting discussed about the strengthening of the union in order to work for the welfare of the employees as well as for the development of the Pinewood hotel as a whole. The union also informed that they had nothing to do with recently formed MTDC union.
Midday Meal Rice
The DC (Supply) West Jaintia Hills District has informed that the Midday Meal Rice for L.P Schools and U.P Schools under the Mid- Day Meal Scheme Rice for the month of January, February and March, 2013 has been released through their respective Fair Price Shop Dealers for Jowai Sadar and will be delivered free of cost by selected fair price shop dealers. Scale of issue is 3.32 kgs per students for L.P Schools and 8.26 Kgs per students for U.P. Necessary permit will be delivered up to May 31.
Book release
A book titled ‘Commucracy’ written by Dr Wansainbor A Lyngwi will be released on April 19 at 12noon at Durbar Hall, Lawmali.
