NONGPOH: The District Magistrate, Ri Bhoi District Akash Deep Singh on Thursday imposed section 144 CrPC prohibiting the obstruction to the movement of vehicular traffic in the area of Khyndewso, Mawlasnai and other adjoining areas.
This had been done in purview of the proposed dismantling of the ‘illegal structures’ at Sabuda by the KSU, North Khasi Hills and CSWO (Irene). This section imposed prohibits movement of people, vehicles by any person or group of person for 5 or more.
This order shall come into force with immediate effect and will remain so until further notice.
