SHILLONG: A six-year-old schoolgirl was allegedly raped and then murdered at Ranikor on April 12 on her way to school, police said on Tuesday.
According to police, one Kalu Tamang had lodged a complaint at Ranikor Police station on April 12 his minor daughter was found missing while she was on her way to school along with one boy and a girl.
However, the police on the same day recovered the body of the minor girl from a jungle at Jharubagan, Nonghyllam in South West Khasi Hills.
