The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills District has informed that rice free of cost under PMGKAY for NFSA households (AAY and PHH) for the month of May is being released through fair price shops at the scale of 5 kgs per head.
Virtual meet
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually interact with beneficiaries of various central schemes on Tuesday. The event will take place in the State Convention Centre and will be attended by DoNER Minister, G Kishan Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister, Prestone Tynsong, among others.
Training
A five-day training programme on ‘Long Term Recovery and Reconstruction Strategies’ organised by the National Institute of Disaster Management, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi, in collaboration with Meghalaya Disaster Management Authority, Shillong, commenced with an inaugural programme at Meghalaya Administrative Training Institute (MATI), Mawdiangdiang, on Friday. The programme was inaugurated by Secretary, Revenue & Disaster Management department, E Kharmalki, and attended by around 60 participants.
