Nongrang appointed DG of Home Guards

SHILLONG, June 2: Special Director General of Police, Idashisha Nongrang was on Thursday appointed Director-General of Home Guards and Civil Defence. She will take charge on Friday.
Nongrang’s transfer comes days after the state government appointed Lajja Ram Bishnoi as the new Director-General of Police.
