A loaded truck (MLO5E – 3975) travelling towards Shillong from Guwahati overturned on a turning at Jyntru under Umling Block, Ri Bhoi District April 23.Driver Yugendra Thapa (23) and the helper Sunil Sarki (16) were shifted to Nongpoh Civil Hospital.
A motorist sustained injuries, when the motorbike hit a wall on the side of the road while it was trying to make way for a truck on a turning, coming from the opposite direction on April 22. Speakson Kharsawian (30) was shifted to Mawryngkneng PHC for treatment.
