AITC leader defers visit to Shillong

SHILLONG, June 15: All India Trinamool Congress general secretary Abhishek Banerjee has cancelled his visit to Shillong to inaugurate the party office on Thursday.
Party sources on Tuesday said Banerjee was forced to cancel his visit since he was occupied with other engagements.
According to the party sources, the AITC leader will visit Shillong on June 29.
Besides inaugurating the party office, the AITC general secretary was also scheduled to address party workers from various parts of the state at U Soso Tham auditorium.
