Review meeting held to speed up projects

 NONGSTOIN: In order to speed up the implementation of all development projects under South West Khasi Hills District, the Deputy Chief Minister Rowell Lyngdoh held a review meeting with District Officers of all Departments at multipurpose Hall, D C Complex on Friday in the presence of the Deputy Commissioner, South West Khasi Hills District A Mawlong IAS and the Additional Deputy Commissioner, K L Nongbri.

Presiding over the meeting, Mawlong told the Officers to briefly explain the status of development schemes implemented by their departments in the District.

Interacting with the Officers of different departments, the Deputy Chief Minister stressed on the need of putting up extra efforts for the implementation of various development schemes in the District for the benefit of the people at large.

Achievements in implementation of development schemes by different departments were highlighted by the head of Offices during the meeting.

Problems faced by the departments in implementing their development projects were also discussed during the interactive session.
