SHILLONG, June 24: Several localities of Shillong have reportedly been subject to an-hour-long power cut for many days now during the morning.
According to residents of these localities, the power is cut off at 10 am and restored at 11 am.
When contacted, officials from the Meghalaya Energy Corporation Limited said that this is happening due to maintenance exercise as lines are being repaired and upgraded on a daily basis.
