SHILLONG: Indian Council for Cultural relations in Collaboration with the Department of Arts & Culture is celebrating the 152nd Birth Anniversary of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore at Brookside Cottage on Thursday.
On this special occasion, a play based on Tagore’s Shesher Kabita will be staged.
A dance drama performance by Monica Chanda of the Geetanjali Dance Academy and a presentation on the centenary of Tagore’s Gitanjali and Nobel Prize will also be showcased.
The programme will be held in two sections, from 8.30 am and again in the evening from 5 pm.
