TMC forms Mendipathar block committee

SHILLONG, Aug 5: Meghalaya TMC formed its block committee in Mendipathar, North Garo Hills, and elected office-bearers for the same during a meeting on Friday.
According to a statement, the meeting was attended by Salmanpara MLA Winnerson Sangma, who informed the gathering about governance under Mukul Sangma.
“During Dr Mukul’s tenure one could see the development happening in front of our eyes. Today, this is not the case. Today if the ruling government is not good then it’s our responsibility to criticise the government in order to get better governance,” he said.
During the meeting, Jappil Momin was elected as president of Mendipathar block committee, Cambleson Sangma as the advisor, among others.
