NONGSTOIN, Aug 7: Hubert Paliar, a resident of Mawliehbah, a small hamlet in West Khasi Hills 15 kilometres from Nongstoin, who is set to represent India in the 55Kg senior category event of the ‘Arm Wrestling World Championship’ in Turkey, was felicitated.
The Paliar clan along with several organisations including the National People’s Youth Front (NPYF), Kharbani clan, Sankyntoid Sport Club, KSU, HANM, WKSU and WYF have felicitated Hubert Paliar in a function held at his residence.
All the organisations have applauded him for his hard work and hoped that he will bring laurels for the village and the entire state.
