ICSW celebrates golden jubilee

SHILLONG, Aug 20: The Indian Council of Social Welfare (ICSW) Meghalaya Chapter on Saturday organised its golden jubilee celebration at Pinewood Banquet Hall, Shillong.
According to a statement, the programme was attended by Commissioner & Secretary of Social Welfare department Pravin Bakshi who, in his address, patted the former and current members of the ICSW Meghalaya Chapter for their commitment and services to the welfare of the community.
Secretary of ICSW Meghalaya, Democracy Lyngwa, in his address, gave touched upon the history and journey of the ICSW Meghalaya since its inception in 1972.
As part of the celebration, former and incumbent members of ICSW were also felicitated during the programme.
