MCA to conduct M’laya Open Carrom C’ship cum selection

SHILLONG, Aug 23: The Meghalaya Carrom Association (MCA) will be conducting the 20th Meghalaya Open Carrom Championship cum selection for the forthcoming 50th Senior National Championships scheduled to be held in November at New Delhi. The state championship will be from September 13-17 at the Lama Villa Community/Sports Hall, Shillong. The various events as part of the championship include team events, men’s singles & doubles, women’s singles & doubles, juniors/sub-juniors (boys and girls), and veteran singles. Further, the association has asked the different clubs to renew their affiliation and inform the association if they are to conduct any future tournaments for official purposes.
