St. Edmund’s bag six positions in HSSLC (Arts)

 SHILLONG: The St. Edmund’s College, Higher Secondary Section has bagged six positions from among the top 10 in the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (Arts) examination, results of which were declared on Thursday.

A total number of 121 appeared with 74 being placed in 1st division, 44 in 2nd division and 3 in third division. The pass percentage of St. Edmund’s College, Higher Secondary Section is 100%. Altogether 39 students got letter marks in different subjects.

Of the top 10 positions, the 3rd position was secured by Saweini S. Laloo with letter marks in English, Alternative English, Political Science and History. Veni Excel Amity Marwein secured 4th position with highest marks in Geography, Computer Science and Mathematics. Lalparmawii Rengsi got the 8th position with letter marks in English, Alternative English and Computer Science.

The 9th Position was secured by Fungkha Iswary with letter marks in English, Political Science and History. Sharing the 9th position was Sanjita Devi with letter marks in English and Economics. Baiasuklang Kurkalang secured the 10th position with letter marks in Economics and Political Science.

The management of St. Edmund’s College, Higher Secondary Section has congratulated all the position holders, the students, the teachers, the parents, the associate staff and all well wishers for the exemplary performance in the Class XII (Arts) examination.
